I've gone nude

Way to try to grab some attention, right? So I keep seeing more and more nude lipsticks in magazines. I don't typically wear bright lip colors but I do like some color. However, I've been curious to see how this "nude" thing would play out for me. I didn't want to spend a fortune in case I didn't like the results, but I am a bit snotty about my cosmetics and I've spent a bit of time looking at shades from some of the lines I like. I don't wear lipsticks but prefer lipgloss. I was at Target and saw the Jemma Kidd line. I decided to give it a try versus the Shu Uemura shade I really wanted. I like it. A lot. The shade I chose is called Undress which seems quite fitting for a nude color. If you haven't tried the nude phase give it a whirl. For me it's a nice new look and I like it! Also, today I am reading The Invisible Wall by Harry Bernstein. I really, really like this book. Finally, something I would suggest to other people. I've been in a bit of a dry spell lately for good books.

I love the title of your post!
I know what you mean about being snotty about cosmetics. I just bought a new eyeliner. I had tried the cheaper ones and they just weren't as good. Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner is the only one that does it for me.
BTW if you want a great book try Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. It is a riveting tale set in Barcelona in the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War. It's a crime thriller with a couple of love stories thrown in.

Jane- LOVE Bobbi Brown gel liner. My friends and I are working on a book club and have been trying to find our 1st book- I'm going to suggest Shadow of the Wind. Thank you!

I love the nude look too. I sometimes do a sheer pink full on the lips and then add Loreal HIP Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss in Pixie on just the center of the top and bottom lip. It gives your lips an extra pouty look.

BTW, love the hat!
