In keeping with tradition we took our chairs out to the parade route last night. As usual Brian wanted no part of this. He thinks it is terribly tacky. I think it is funny. And it's tradition, right? We will have rock star seating at the parade thanks to my diligence! (And thanks to Tessa and Caroline- They helped scout out and secure our location.)

i just feel bad for the guys i saw trying to the lawns of the apartments at zollinger and northwest. i mean, it IS ridiculous when you see the chairs (like i did) set out a full 6 days in advance! we set ours out tonight in the same exact spot as last year and don't feel the least bit neurotic for the doing. :)
