OK, and no joke: I got this from our local newspaper where they had voting tips and do's and dont's:
Do's and Don'ts
Do not wear campaign buttons, shirts or other partisan paraphernalia to the polls.
You can't be prevented from voting, but poll workers can ask that a political T-shirt be turned inside out or obscured with an apron, for example.
Yes, I often take an apron to vote, just in case...

I am impressed by everyone's commitment to voting. In the UK most people pretend it isn't happening. And they rarely discuss who they voted for!
