Trick or Treat

Even our neighbors dog Daisy had a costume! The big inflatable spider is from my office. As many people know, I love inflatables! (I'm currently looking for an inflatable pilgrim. Not a turkey pilgrim, but a person pilgrim, I already have an inflatable turkey, which will soon be in my yard.)

A clean joke

Two brooms were hanging in the closet and after a while they got to know each other so well, they decided to get married. One broom was, of course, the bride broom, the other the groom broom. The bride broom looked very beautiful in her white dress. The groom broom was handsome and suave in his tuxedo. The wedding was lovely. After the wedding, at the wedding dinner, the bride-broom leaned over and said to the groom-broom, "I think I am going to have a little whisk broom!" "IMPOSSIBLE !" said the groom broom.
"WE HAVEN'T EVEN SWEPT TOGETHER!"
* I can't take credit for this joke- it came from my friend Kathy

Check out the fun at Home Depot!

I heard that Home Depot has a kids clinic where kids can go learn to build something on Saturday mornings. How fun is that? (And it's free!) It says that the activity is designed for kids 5-12 but from what I was told they can be a little younger, but the parent needs to help. Here is the info for this Saturday:
Pirate Ship Saturday, November 3, 2007 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Designed for kids 5-12, these free workshops teach do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while instilling a sense of accomplishment. Offered on the first Saturday of each month between 9 a.m. and noon at The Home Depot®.

Happy Birthday Coach Bobby Knight!

I know everyone has their own strong opinions on Bobby but I love him!

Tonight I called Caroline "pipsqueak." I asked her if she liked that name and she told me no. I asked her what she wanted me to call her and she said "I want to stay Caroline."
